Zinc Oxide

Active zinc oxide is a highly inert white compound that is very widely used as
a filler as well as a white pigment. It is present in some rubber, glass and
ceramic products and is used as an additive in animal feed. It is also used as
a corrosion inhibitor and mildew inhibitor in coatings.
Active zinc oxide application/use:
Feed Industry:
As a nutritional additive of zinc, active zinc oxide can inhibit the production
of harmful bacteria and maintain the balance of intestinal flora. Active zinc
oxide has a large specific surface area, which is conducive to the absorption
of nutrients. At the same time, it can prevent and control the incidence of
diarrhea in weaned piglets.
Rubber Industry: 
Zinc oxide rubber grade is an important ingredient in rubber manufacturing.
Used to improve thermal stability, vulcanization speed and bond strength of
rubber. As active agent, vulcanization accelerator agent and reinforcing agent,
zinc oxide can make rubber products have good abrasion resistance, tear
resistance and elasticity. Applicable products include: Auto parts, soles,
rubber bands, gloves, tires, etc.
