VANE PACK KNITTED WIRE MESH DEMISTER PAD
Also known as vane pack demister, cyclone demister filter, oil filter mesh pad.
Vane type mist eliminator demister pads are mainly processed from stainless
steel woven knitted mesh, FRP or PP. Vane pack demisters made of Stainless
Steel 304 Knitting Wire Mesh is popularly used to remove the mists and liquid
droplets entrained in thermal heating filtration system. The wire mesh and vane
pack demister separator is a kind of vapor liquid separating device. Mainly
used for separating diameter greater than 3 ~ 5 micron droplets. SS 304 Vane
type demister pads (W type) are export products designed for Turkey, Thailand,
India and Pakistand as well as other countries. This page also introduces how

Installation and Work Principle
When the air with mist rises up at certain speeds and gets through wire mesh,
mist will collide with wire and will be attached on the surface of wire in the
effect of rising inertia. The dispersion and sedimentation makes mist form
bigger and bigger drops until it is heavier than the combined forces of gas
rising force and liquids surface tensile and wires capillarity. Therefore,
liquid drop will be separated and fall off from wire. Mist is essentially
eliminated after gas gets through wire mesh demister.
