Titanium dioxide TiO2 used in titanium dioxide paint coating is divided into
anatase type TiO2 paint and rutile type TiO2 in paint, according to
international practice, known as R type and A type respectively. Rutile type
and anatase type without post-treatment are called RI type and AI type
respectively. The treated rutile type and anatase type are called R2, R3 and A2
type respectively. The rutile titanium dioxide in the present market are mostly
belong to R2 and R3 type, R2 type sales accounted for more than 70%. R2 and R3
accounted for 77% and 22%, respectively, of rutile titanium dioxide in
coatings.

Performance of Titanium Dioxide Paints & Coating
The TiO2 coating is a viscous suspension composed of a base material, pigment,
filler, solvent and additive. It will be coated on the surface of the object to
