Sintered Diamond Saw Blades

The wholly sintered diamond blade involves the process of merely putting the
steel core, together with the diamonds and the metal bond materials, into a mould
and then sintering it in a sintering furnace equipment. Consequently, the
diameter of wholly sintered diamond blades is not very large, usually not more
than 400 millimetres (16 in). The steel cores are hard because of the process of
sintering. Therefore the hardness and strength of the centre are at an average
level (not very high). These types of diamond saw blades would exhibit low
cutting efficiency because of its high load and high intensity cutting processes.
