1. Main properties: Sericite is a new type of industrial mineral with a
layered structure, which is a subspecies of muscovite in the mica family with
extremely fine scales. The density is 2.78-2.88g / cm 3, the hardness is 2-
2.5, and the diameter-thickness ratio is> 50. It can be split into very thin
flakes, with silk luster and smooth feeling, full of elasticity, flexibility,
acid and alkali resistance, strong electrical insulation, heat resistance (up
to 600 o C), and low coefficient of thermal expansion, and The surface has
strong UV resistance, good abrasion resistance and wear resistance. The
elastic modulus is 1505-2134MPa, the tensile strength is 170-360MPa, the shear
strength is 215-302MPa, and the thermal conductivity is 0.419-0.670W.

which is silver-white or grayish-white, in the form of fine scales. Its
