Poly aluminium chloride
Polyaluminium chloride (PAC) is a type of water treatment chemical that is
commonly used for coagulation and flocculation in the purification of drinking
water, wastewater treatment, and various industrial processes. It is an
inorganic polymer coagulant that can remove suspended solids and impurities
from water by causing particles to clump together and settle.
PAC has several advantages, such as its high coagulation efficiency, low dosage
requirement, and effectiveness over a wide range of water conditions. It is
often used as an alternative to traditional coagulants like alum (aluminum
sulfate).
