Optical Spherical Concave Reflective Mirror

Optical mirror is an optical element which has reflective function.
Accordingly shape, it can divide into three parts, that is flat mirror,
spherical mirror, aspheric mirror. Accordingly, degree of reflection, it can
divide into two parts, that is total reflection mirror and half reflecting
mirror.
On the back of the optical glass make a metallic silver or aluminum or gold
film by vacuum coating to reflect the incident light. First surface mirror
the reflected image has no distortion, no glint, and it’s also called front
surface mirror, it’s widely used for optical high-fidelity scanning reflection
imaging, beam bending, interferometry, imaging and illumination.
Commonly use polishing glasses or metal as substrate made a reflected coating
on it, including metal film and dielectric coating, metal coating material
including gold, silver, aluminum, aluminum mirror has very high reflection
rate from UV to IR, film fastness and stable, silver mirror have high
reflectance ratio from VIS and IR, AOI changed slightly and low polarization
effect, gold mirror has very high reflectance rate, strength and stability in
IR area, better than silver coating. Metal film is soft and easily to scratch
and damage, so it’s often plated with a protective film outside the metal
film, if need high reflection ratio choose dielectric coating film, it can
improve the reflectivity and reduce the absorption loss.
AOI and wavelength will affect the reflectance ratio, commonly AOI is 0° or
45°
