Molecular Sieves(3A Molecular Sieve,4A Molecular Sieve,5A Molecular Sieve)

3A molecular sieve,sometimes also known as 3A zeolitemolecular sieve,is a kind
of potassium-sodium aluminosilicate with LTA-type skeleton structure which is
composed of silicon-oxygen and aluminum-oxygen tetrahedrons.The main
crystal hole of the 3A molecular sieve is an eight-membered ring structure, and
the crystal pore size is 3Å (0.3nm).This kind of Molecular Sieve is mainly used
to adsorb water, and does not adsorb any molecule with a diameter larger
than 3A. According to the characteristics of industrial applications, the
molecular sieve 3A produced by Fulong has faster adsorption speed, more
regeneration times, higher crushing strength and stronger wear resistance,which
greatly improves the utilization efficiency of molecular sieves and prolongs
the service life of molecular sieves.It is the first choice desiccant necessary
for deep drying,refining and polymerization of gas and liquid phases in
petroleum and chemical industries.

4A molecular sieve is a kind of potassium-sodium aluminosilicate with LTA-type
skeleton structure which is composed of silicon-oxygen and aluminum-oxygen
tetrahedrons.The main crystal hole of the 4A molecular sieve is an eight-
membered ring structure, and the crystal pore size is 4Å (0.4nm).It can adsorb
water, methanol, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide,
ethylene and propylene, but does not adsorb any molecule with diameter greater
than 4A (including propane). Its selective adsorption performance for water is
higher than that of any other molecule.It is one of the largest molecular
sieves varieties in industry.It is widely used in the drying of gases and
liquids, and also in the refining and purification of some gases or liquids,
such as the preparation of argon.

5A molecular sieve, generally also known as calcium molecular sieve with an
effective pore opening of 5 angstroms, can absorb any molecule smaller than
this pore size. In addition to the functions of 3A and 4A molecular sieves, it
can also adsorb C3-C4 normal alkanes, chloroethane, bromoethane, butanol, etc.,
and can also be used for the separation of normal isomers, pressure swing
adsorption separation and the co-adsorption of water and carbon dioxide.

13X molecular sieve, also known as sodium X molecular sieve, is an alkali metal
aluminosilicate with a certain alkalinity. With the pore size of 10A,13X
molecular sieve can adsorb any molecules larger than 3.64A and smaller than
10A.It can be used for catalyst co-carrier, water and carbon dioxide co-
adsorption, water and hydrogen sulfide gas co-adsorption. It is mainly used in
the drying of medicine and air compression system, and has different specialty
varieties according to different applications.With the highest theoretical
capacity of the common adsorbents and very good mass transfer rates, 13X
molecular sieve is also often used as high-capacity adsorbents which is widely
used in cryopumping, drying of cracked gas, air separation, natural gas
Processing, Petrochemical industry and catalysis of hydrocarbon Processing and
air separation.
