Magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia Carbon Brick is a resin-bonded brick produced from dead-burned or
fused magnesia and graphite, with some metallic powder as anti-oxidants to
protect the carbon durability. MgO-C bricks are used extensively in high
quality steel alloy making processes especially in basic oxygen furnaces,
electric arc furnaces, ladle refining furnances,and is widely popular in the
steelmaking industry. Magnesia Carbon Brick is mainly used in the converter
lining, which is in direct contact with molten steel and molten slag. Mag
Carbon Bricks have been used in the ladle refining slag line and has achieved
good results. It is also used in the lining part of AC electric arc furnace, DC
electric arc furnace, converter and other components.
