insulation. For example, it is used as an insulation layer for pipelines and

Foil shielding is a type of shielded cable that uses a thin layer of aluminum
and polyester backing to wrap the cable to improve durability. The foil shield
works in series with the tinned copper shielding wire to ground the shield.
