Highway bridge pot bearing (HPB)

Combined precision machined steel components with an elastomeric disc at the
centre, highway bridge pot bearings is designed according to the projects'
specific requirements. By accommodating the structure's relative
displacement, these high performance bearings transfer large vertical loads.
No matter the bearings are fixed, unidirectional or multidirectional, they
can transfer vertical and horizontal load combinations with transverse
displacements.Resulting in larger load and movements on fewer piers.
Advantages of Highway bridge pot bearing
1. The plank sliding of stainless steel plate and poly four ethylene moulded
plate is used as the slip surface of the bearing. It has low friction
coefficient, large bearing capacity, small deformation, wear resistance and
corrosion resistance.
2. The use of sealed rubber improves the bearing capacity of the bearing and
the life of the rubber, and more importantly, the bearing has flexible
rotation performance and cushioning performance.
3. The rubber bearing is simple in structure, light in weight and cheap in
price. It has obvious economic effect.
4. The low building height of the rubber bearing is very beneficial to the
bridge design.
