High-quality rubber sealing element manufacturer for TC oil seals
An oil seal is a device that prevents the leakage of oil or other fluids from a machine or equipment. It also prevents the entry of dust or dirt from the outside. Oil seals are widely used in various fields such as automotive engines, ships, railways, household appliances, etc.
One of the common types of oil seals is the TC type. This type of oil seal has a rubber case that covers the outer surface of the seal and provides and protection. The interior of the sealing element is made of metal, which is combined with rubber to form a sealing lip that contacts the rotating shaft. The sealing lip has a spring that enhances the sealing performance and prevents deformation.
The specification of a TC oil seal consists of four numbers: inner diameter, outer diameter, width, and material. For example, NQKSF TC NBR means a TC type oil seal with an inner diameter of 64 mm, an outer diameter of 83 mm, a width of 10 mm, and a material of NBR (nitrile rubber). The inner diameter is the size of the shaft that the oil seal fits on. The outer diameter is the size of the bore that the oil seal fits in. The width is the thickness of the oil seal. The material is the type of rubber that the sealing lip is made of.
The specification of a TC oil seal is important because it determines the compatibility and performance of the oil seal in different applications. The inner diameter and outer diameter must match the dimensions of the shaft and bore to ensure a proper fit and prevent leakage or damage. The width must be sufficient to cover the gap between the shaft and bore and provide enough contact pressure for sealing. The material must be suitable for the working temperature, pressure, speed, and fluid type of the application.
