Product Description GYFTY53 Non Metallic Fiber Optic Cable Strong Moisture Resistance
1.Stranded Loose Tube Non-metallic Strength Member Light-armored Cable GYFTY53 Product Description: The fibers, 125μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic.The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) locates in the center of core as a non- metallic strength member.The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core.After the cable core is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress, the cable is completed with a thin polyethylene(PE) inner sheath. A layer of water- blocking tape is applied around the cable core to prevent water ingress all the same.After a corrugated steel tape armor is applied,the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath. 2. Features: ♦ Excellent mechanical and temperature performance ♦ Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber and resist the water. ♦ Non-metallic central strength member FRP withstand axial loads. ♦ Inner sheath effectively lower the external mechanical loading. ♦ Corrugated steel tape longitudinal cover cable core and provide good crush resistance. ♦ PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation. ♦ 100% core filling water prevent cable jelly to ensure the cable watertight. 3.
