Galvanized Steel Welded Wire Mesh
Metech Welded Mesh Inc specializes in the export and manufacturing of Galvanized Steel Welded Wire Mesh. Our catalog encompasses a broad spectrum of types and specifications, ensuring a versatile selection to meet all your Galvanized Steel Welded Wire Mesh needs. Our mesh products undergo a rigorous galvanization process, enhancing their durability and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Galvanized Wire Mesh Types
Hot-Dipped Galvanized Wire Mesh: This type involves dipping the wire mesh into molten zinc after it has been welded, providing a thick, protective coating that significantly enhances its resistance to rust and corrosion. Ideal for outdoor applications where the mesh is exposed to harsh weather conditions, hot-dipped galvanization ensures a long-lasting durable finish. Electro Galvanized Wire Mesh: Electro galvanization involves applying a zinc coating using electrical current, resulting in a thinner coat compared to hot-dipped galvanization. This process provides a smooth and uniform finish, suitable for indoor applications or less corrosive environments. The thinner zinc coating offers adequate protection while maintaining the mesh’s flexibility and ease of use. Galvanized Before Weld (GBW) Wire Mesh: In GBW wire mesh, each individual wire is galvanized before being welded into a mesh. This process ensures that the wires are fully coated, providing good corrosion resistance. However, the welding points themselves can be slightly less protected, making GBW mesh more suitable for indoor applications or environments with minimal exposure to moisture. Galvanized After Weld (GAW) Wire Mesh: GAW wire mesh is galvanized after the welding process, ensuring that both the wires and the welding joints are thoroughly coated with zinc. This method offers superior protection against rust and corrosion, making it ideal for use in more demanding outdoor or humid environments. GAW mesh is often preferred for heavy-duty applications due to its enhanced durability and longevity.
Comparison
Protection Level: Hot-Dipped offers the highest, followed by GAW, with GBW and Electro Galvanized providing lighter protection. Application Environment: Hot-Dipped and GAW are better suited for harsh outdoor conditions, while Electro Galvanized and GBW are ideal for indoor or less corrosive settings. Coating Thickness: Hot-Dipped has the thickest coating, with Electro Galvanized being the thinnest and most uniform. Cost: Generally, Hot-Dipped and GAW are more expensive due to their comprehensive protection, while GBW and Electro Galvanized are more cost-effective for less demanding applications.
