FIXED RFID READER

The fixed reader is a device usually mounted at a specific position, used to
automatically read and write RFID tags within its identification range, it can
integrate an antenna or connect to an external antenna via RF cable, and can
read single to volume RFID tags in seconds from proximity to up to 20 meters
distance, it can continuously run or triggered by the sensor, normally used for
automation, warehouse management, and automatic data capture, access control
and payment.

The lf rfid reader are divided into different types by adapting different
technology at the RFID reader manufacturer, Crepak. They can be sole UHF, HF,
and LF RFID reader, or can be dual-band, even triple band reader. Although all
fixed readers are used to automatically read or write tags, they are different
form factors in different scenarios and technology. Like LF and HF RFID
readers, normally they are integrated with antenna and cover proximity range,
to identify unique or several tags. And for UHF RFID readers, they can be all
in one machine for access control, work in process management, but for most
applications, they are independent readers and can be connected to several or
up to 32 antennas via RF cable to cover a larger range for long-distance and
batch identification.
