What is a Filter Nozzle?
Filter nozzle--Retains the media and also provides the means for good
distribution of water and air.

The filter nozzle is applied to the components that retain the media and
also provide the means for good distribution of water and air (where
used).It is an element that prevents a filtering or purifying granular media
from leaving the tank or vessel.

A filter nozzle has three main components: a filter with slots to retain
filter media or gravel, a water control hole, and an exhaust manifold with
small holes to control airflow (for long tail nozzle caps with wind
groove).The function of the tailpipe of a filter nozzle is to control the
distribution of air. If air is not used tailpipes are not required.



Classification of filter nozzle types
Filter nozzles are divided into three main types:

Type 1: Short-tail filter nozzle, Installation application for steel floors
or stainless steel floors with high degree of quality.

type 2: Medium-tail filter nozzle, Installation application for concrete
floors with the application of combined air and water filtration.

type 3: Long-tail filter nozzle. Installation application for concrete floor
with combined air and water filter washing, need higher water level lowering
and more evenly distributed wind.

Filter nozzles can be made of many materials such as plastics and metals and

provided water filter nozzle made of this material.

First of all, wedge wire filter nozzle is no clogging or plugging as in
other conventional screens or filters.

Also the V-shaped wire has an additional, allows for easy cleaning or
backwashing of the filter media.
