Expanded Metal Mesh Grid,Aluminium Amplimesh Security Grid

Expanded Metal-Grid made of flattened expanded metal, is used to retrofit over
existing dangerously slick gratings creating a safe, productive walking
surface.
Expanded Metal-Grid provides vital traction necessary to increase safety with a
minimum of weight and surface area. We can provide full sheets or cut to size
and custom sizes for stair treads or other application requirements.
Materials: This product is available in steel, aluminum, galvanized steel or
stainless steel.
Features: Expanded metals for grid are durable and long lasting and hard.

We supply:

Expanded Aluminum (Aluminum Expanded Metal Mesh) 6mm thick material with 30-
50mm openings.

Flattened expanded metal titanium grids and flattened expanded metal aluminum
grids
The size of the plates (grids) of titanium and aluminum is as follows:
The frame ( solid and not expanded metal) has a top bar and a lug. There is no
frame at the bottom or at the sides. The frame is of the same material and
thickness as the expanded metal body. The top bar is 6 mm high. The lug is
15.875mm wide (5/8th inch ) and 25.4 mm high (1 inch) (above the top bar). The
expanded metal body is flattened. The metal body is 142.875 mm wide (5 and
5/8th inch) and 120.65mm high ( 4 and 3/4th inch)… including the 6mm top bar.
The lug has a 2mm gap from the

edge of the body.
All of the pieces are the same size and shape—except for thickness . All of
the pieces are made with an expanded metal body. The expanded metal body has a
Diamond pattern and is flattened: The following hole size is not critical if
you have standard.

LWO …5mm after flattening LWD…8mm after flattening
SWO….3mm after flattening SWD…5mm after flattening
Thickness of piece (grid) after expansion and after flattening: 0.5mm for
aluminum and
0.3mm for titanium.
The titanium may be Grade 1 or Grade 2.
The aluminum may be 6061 or 6063 or 3003 or 5005.
