XC Speed Controller Provides Not Only Performance, But Also Protection

RC cars and trucks are crucial assets to RC hobby enthusiasts, we should

through our speed controller (ESC).

We can see that there are lots of speed controller manufacturers always shown

XC Technology XC202-E8 electronic speed controller, for instance, is a powerful
ESC designed for 1:8 scale RC cars or trucks. This ESC can handle 6S LiPo

Active freewheeling. The precision active freewheeling can reduce MOS
generating heat and avoid excessive current pulse.
Current limiting in each single PWM cycle. This is a very important protection
technique, which can protect power switch elements and motor when there is a
sudden heavy current or has a short-circuited output.
It can a) reduce impact of pulse current on motor; b) reduce impact on switch
MOS; c) ESC will detect and control current 20,000 times per second in each PWM
cycle, no need to shut down ESC.

Traditionally, when over current occurs, it will be controlled after 10 times
process, the power will be decreased or ESC shut down. Comparing to this mode,
XC electronic speed controller provides better user experience.
