Description:
Dicalcium Phosphate is obtained from the reaction of phosphate rock with a
strong acid (sulfuric
or hydrochloric) obtaining phosphoric acid as a product and subsequently
neutralized with carbonate
of calcium.
Specifications: Light gray to dark gray fine powder, odorless and practically
insoluble in water
Indications: Diets of layer and broiler birds, pigs, pets and fish.
As a complement to the nutritional information, it should be considered a
phosphorus bioavailability of 95% (17.1%, based on 18%) and 100% availability
of Ca.
