Cooling Tower

Cooling tower is a device that uses the contact between air and water (directly
or indirectly) to cool water. It uses water as a circulating coolant to absorb
heat from a system and discharge it into the atmosphere, thereby reducing the
temperature inside the tower and creating cooling water that can be recycled.
Brackets and tower bodies: external supports
Filler: Provides large heat transfer area for water and air
Cooling tank: located at the bottom of the cooling tower to receive cooling
water
Water collector: Recovers water droplets carried away by the air stream
Air inlet: cooling tower air inlet
Water spraying device: spray cooling water
Fan: Supply air to the cooling tower
Axial fans are used for induced draft cooling towers.
