Field fencing is also a kind of popular fence for fields or agriculture, also
called farm fence or grassland fence. It is woven by high tensile hot dipped
galvanized with zinc coating above 200g/m2. It is a type of very economical
fence for farms, orchards, fields, grasslands, forest zones…etc. The formation
of the field fencing is automatic twist plait by the line wire and the cross
wire. So the fencing mesh is knotted. The spacing between the line wire is
different, with smaller spacing at the bottom of the mesh panel, and then the
spacing becomes much bigger than the bottom one. To design like that is to
protect the little rodents or animals from getting through.

Farm Fence Types
Field fences can be woven with different types of knots: fixed knots, hinge
joint knots, or other custom patterns.
● Hinge joint fence is the most commonly used type with economic benefits.
Different from the above weaving method, the hinge joint is formed by wrapping
the vertical wires around horizontal wires at each intersection. This spring
shaped knot will provide the most elasticity to absorb the harshest impact
energy as well as spring back into its original shape.

● Fixed knot fence is the strongest fence type with increased post spacing,
highest visibility, and low maintenance – which takes advantage of fixed knots
formed by using separate wires to tie the continuous horizontal and vertical
wires together without sliding.
