Calcium Hypochlorite (CHC),stable bleaching powder,is a granular substance
formed after calcium hydroxide absorbs chlorine gas, and is a stable compound.
Calcium hypochlorite can be used as a disinfectant for swimming pools because
it releases chlorine gas when added to water. Dosing Calcium Hypochlorite (CHC)
will increase the calcium ion concentration and pH in the water, which is
beneficial for swimming pools using soft water. There should be enough chlorine
to keep the residual chlorine in the pool water at 0.4-0.6 mg/L.
