Botulax is the botulinum produced in Korea by Hugel Pharma. Botulax is a safe

Composition

Applications / Indications
Botulax is not only like cosmetic botox, botulic toxin type A can be used to
treat benign essential bleparspasm in adult patients, treating equine foot
deformity with cerebral palsy for children aged 2 years or older. Botox or
botulinum is known above all to improve serious glabellar wrinkles in adults
aged between 18 and 65. Bi-botulinum ampoules can be stored in the refrigerator
for 24 months.

Dosages
For blepharospasm, an initial dose of 1.25 - 2.5 U (volume of 0.05 mL to 0.1 mL
at each site) is recommended, injected into the medial and lateral pre-tarsal
orbits of the upper lid and into the pre-eye. - orbicular tarsal of the lower
cover.

For pediatric cerebral palsy, a total dose of 4U / kg body weight is
recommended for the affected gastrocnemius muscle in patients with hemiplegia.

In cases of diplegia, the recommended dose is 6U / kg of body weight divided
between the two legs. The total injected dose should not exceed 200 U / patient
at a time.

For Glabellari wrinkles 20U can be injected but the dosage varies according to
the client's presentation.

Effects
In blepharospasm you can appreciate the results in 3 days, seeing the most
appreciable results after 2 weeks. For cases of pediatric cerebral palsy
improvement can be noted within 4 weeks of the injection. For glabellar
wrinkles it is not possible to accurately predict the times to see the most
appreciable results due to the usually customized dosages.

Precautions
At the injection site and beyond the injection site, fatigue, muscle weakness,
diplopia, ptosis, dysphagia, dysphonia, dysarthria, urinary incontinence and
breathing difficulties may rarely occur. Type A botulinum should not be given
to patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in the ampoule.

In case of overdose
In the event of an overdose, the effects may occur not immediately, therefore
it is advisable to check the patient's muscle weakness and / or paralysis for a
few weeks after the onset of the side effects. An anti-toxin is available but
caution with the anti-toxin is that it will not reduce any already noticeable
effects.
