A1045 carbon steel has high strength, good plasticity and toughness. It

is not high intensity of surface quenching parts, such as the spindle, crank
shaft, shaft, gear, worm, keys, pins, etc. Water quenching has a tendency to
form cracks, and parts with complex shapes should be hardened in hot water
or oil.
