AAK hydraulic relief valve solved the vibration and noise problem

Giacomo is the purchasing manager of a German hydraulic equipment company. Last
year, the hydraulic lifting platform designed by his company was very creative
and needed to purchase a hydraulic pilot operated relief valve. It was
originally planned to be promoted on the exhibition at the beginning of the
year, but the test run was not smooth. There was vibration and loud noise
during the lifting process. The problem was the hydraulic relief valve. Giacomo
was confused because the valve came from an old hydraulic relief valve
manufacturer who had cooperated for 5 years. According to the manufacturer,
this hydraulic relief valve sample was completely made based on the drawing,
and the accuracy, flow, pressure and other requirements fully comply with the
original design. The engineer realized that there might be a problem in the
design, and asked Giacomo to contact several hydraulic relief valve
manufacturers, hoping to get some constructive suggestions. It has been a
month, but no progress has been made.

Giacomo suddenly remembered that during the last communication with Gerrit of

I told Giacomo that we are 90% sure, but AAK needs to redesign the hydraulic
relief valve, which will take 6-8 weeks. Giacomo paid $2,000 for the
development the next day. Six weeks later, AAK sent the newly designed
hydraulic relief valve samples. A week later, Giacomo sent a video of the
machine testing. The vibration and noise were gone, and the whole machine could
rise and fall freely. Their engineers disassembled AAK hydraulic relief valve,
only then did they know that AAK design was brilliant and had a sigh of "so it
is".

AAK adds parts to the resonant cavity of the hydraulic pilot operated relief
valve, which reduces the volume of the resonant cavity and increases the
stiffness of the oil under negative pressure. According to the principle that
the components with high stiffness are not easy to resonate, we have adjusted
the internal design of the hydraulic relief valve, added a vibration damping
sleeve and a vibration damping pad to the pilot valve, and set various damping
holes on the vibration damping sleeve to increase damping to eliminate
vibration. The vibration damping pad can cooperate with the resonant cavity and
move freely. There is a throttling groove on the front and back of the
vibration damping pad, and the oil can also produce damping effect when flowing
to change the original flow.

Giacomo privately informed that after the successful test run, the whole team
was very happy and their engineers admired him more and more.
