AAK hydraulic flow control valve is benchmarked with Brevini

Christopher is from Italian hydraulic company Hydr-app S.p.a. and responsible
for the procurement of Beijing office. At the beginning of last month, he
wanted to purchase a batch of hydraulic flow control valves urgently from AAK,
because they had a batch of hydraulic power units sold to Southeast Asia that
needed to replace the hydraulic flow control valves. At the beginning of last
year, considering the cost and supply, his boss purchased the hydraulic flow
control valves from China, which were originally purchased from Brevini
locally. At the beginning, AAK also participated in the sampling of hydraulic
flow control valves, but was cancelled because the quotation of AAK was more
than 25% higher than that of other hydraulic valve manufacturers. Half a year
later, they were complained several times that the hydraulic flow control valve
leakage led to the unstable pressure of the hydraulic power unit. The original
manufacturer replaced some hydraulic flow control valves, but 6 months later,
similar complaints happened again, that is, the stability of these hydraulic
flow control valves was only 6 months.

Christopher found that the AAK hydraulic flow control valve samples have been
normal for more than 1 year, which is as stable as the Brevini hydraulic flow
control valves they purchased before. He persuaded the boss to buy from AAK.
Although the price was more than 25% higher than other hydraulic valve
manufacturers, but it was about 30% cheaper than that of Italy Brevini. More
interestingly, the stability of AAK hydraulic flow control valves were not only
more than twice that of its peers, but also benchmarked Brevini.

Christopher wants to find out why the hydraulic flow control valves of every
factory samples are qualified at the beginning. Six months later, except AAK,
all other hydraulic flow control valves will leak and affect the stability. The
leakage of hydraulic flow control valves after half a year is mostly due to the
wear of parts, that is, the unstable surface hardness of materials during heat
treatment. Most manufacturers adopt conventional heat treatment, which has
advantages in processing cost. How does AAK do it?

1. AAK hydraulic valve has its own heat treatment plant, which can adopt
different heat treatment methods in quenching, carburizing and nitriding
according to different contents of steel. AAK can achieve the aging temperature
of 420 degrees, heat preservation of more than 10H, and can also obtain the
material hardness of 65HRC.

2. The core component materials of AAK hydraulic flow control valves use the
industry's most advanced EFD Induction Sinac heating power supply for induction
heat treatment, with less oxide scale and small deformation. The workpiece is
quenched and locally heated accurately to make the surface hardness of each
processing element consistent.

3. In the later stage, AAK test the hardness of each part of the hydraulic flow
control valves point-to-point. SonoDur3, a Rockwell hardness tester imported
from Germany, is used to perform nondestructive testing efficiently and
accurately.
