AAK Hydraulic Direct-Acting Relief Valve Equivalent to SUN RDFA

This week, we’d like to introduce a Hydraulic Cartridge Direct-Acting
Relief Valve equivalent to SUN standard part RDFA.

The direct-acting relief cartridges are normally closed, pressure-limiting
valves used to protect hydraulic components from pressure transients. When
the pressure at the inlet (port 1) reaches the valve setting, the valve
starts to open to tank (port 2), throttling flow to limit the pressure rise.
These valves are smooth and quiet, essentially zero leak, dirt tolerant,
immune to silting and are very fast.

Last year, one of our Russian customers sent inquiry for model RDFA Direct-
Acting Relief Valve, 10 pcs for trial order and 500 pcs for annual order. At
that time, AAK did not have existing procedure for this model yet, and it
takes at least 30 days for us to develop it. The customer did not have time
to wait and purchased the existing stocks from another hydraulic cartridge
valve manufacturer in Ningbo China. But they have been purchasing other
hydraulic cartridge valves as well as customized hydraulic manifolds from
AAK, and are very satisfied with the quality.

At the beginning of this year, they checked with us again if AAK can provide
RDFA Direct-Acting Relief Valve now, because the valves they purchased from
AAK have the longest average service life, they want to buy this model from
AAK. We delivered 10 pcs of testing samples on March. Last week, we received
the 500 pcs of annual order for RDFA from this Russian customer, which means
that AAK samples have passed their testing.
