AAK Hydraulic Cartridge Relief Valve Meeting 3 High Requirements

The local Israeli manufacturer was not willing to take risk to develop the
hydraulic cartridge relief valve due to small size, and gave it up. After
taking over, AAK made 3 improvements in the structure of the hydraulic
cartridge relief valve, met the 3 requirements: 450bar high pressure

Vaughan is from Israel, and they mainly focus on hydraulic equipment in the
military market. At the beginning of last year, they customized a hydraulic
power unit, which needs to have a pressure resistance of 450bar, the flow

small pressure loss and small volume? My reply: It depends on how small the
volume is. Vaughan sent the drawing of hydraulic cartridge relief valve. After
getting the confirmation that AAK can optimize the internal structure of the
hydraulic cartridge relief valve, he confirmed for us to make samples. After 50
days, AAK sent 12 hydraulic cartridge relief valve samples.

3 months later, Vaughan sent an order for 600 hydraulic cartridge relief
valves. Their engineers were very satisfied with AAK hydraulic cartridge relief
valves, which not only met the high pressure resistance of 450bar, large flow
of 500L/min, small pressure loss, and small volume, but also completely met the
requirements of the drawing, solving the space barrier of their power unit.

AAK has made 3 improvements in the structure of the hydraulic cartridge relief
valve:

1. The inner wall of the outer end of the hydraulic cartridge relief valve cage
is provided with a boss to limit the valve spool in the valve cage. The valve
spool, the valve cage and the valve cover form the first chamber. The first
chamber is provided with a pressure regulating spring, one end of which is
connected with the valve cover and the other end is connected with the valve
spool body.

2. The right end of the valve cage is provided with a first oil port, and the
circumference of the valve cage is provided with 2 rows of second oil ports.

3. The outer wall of the right end of the valve spool is provided with a
groove, and the groove and the second oil port of the valve cage form a second
chamber.

For the hydraulic cartridge relief valve with such structure, when the oil
enters from the first oil port and the oil pressure on both sides of the valve
spool is not equal, the valve spool moves to the left, the 2 oil ports are
connected, the valve port is opened for overflow, and the flow pressure loss in
the valve is small. The valve cage is provided with a plurality of second oil
ports to ensure large flow.
