AAK Hydraulic Cartridge Relief Valve Hardened Knob & Zero Leakage

A while ago, Kuzma from Russia left a message on the website of hydraulic
cartridge valve manufacturer AAK:
1.Can you provide RV10-26 hydraulic cartridge relief valve with an
adjustable hand knob?
2. Each valve needs to be tested at a low flow rate of 2L/min to ensure that
the pressure can be adjusted within a range of up to 200 bar.
3. What is the price and lead time for 50 pcs of RV10-26 hydraulic cartridge
relief valves?

Such messages have a probability of over 95% being actual orders, and
hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturer AAK often responds promptly. After
communication, it was learned that the RV10-26 hydraulic cartridge relief
valve was purchased by them all year round. The relief valves provided by
the original hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturer have 2 problems that
often troubled them, the hand knob and pressure issues. Because of the
requirements of the equipment, their RV10-26 hydraulic relief valve needs to
be manually adjusted frequently. Although the original hydraulic cartridge
valve manufacturer has conducted the anodizing treatment of the adjusting
hand knob and the fixed screw disk, 6 months later, the adjusting screw is
severely worn, resulting in a short service life of the valve.

The suggestion given by hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturer AAK is to
first adjust the hand knob and fixed screw, select aluminum alloy with high
hardness, and the adjustment screw must be hardened before anodizing
treatment. After hardening and heat treatment, the wear resistance of the
adjusting screw can be increased by more than 50%, which is a detail that
most hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturers are not familiar with. On the
second day, Kuzma approved the suggestion of hydraulic cartridge valve
manufacturer AAK.

For Kuzma's requirement to test each valve at a low flow rate of 2L/min to
ensure that the pressure can be adjusted within a range of up to 200 bar, it
should because of the valves provided by the original hydraulic cartridge
valve manufacturer had leakage issue. In the case of stable manufacturing
quality, it is necessary to test each RV10-26 hydraulic relief valve before
shipment. I estimate that the original hydraulic cartridge valve
manufacturer did not conduct a 100% full inspection.

Yesterday, we completed the production of 50 pcs of RV10-26 hydraulic relief
valves and attached our inspection video. Today, we received confirmation
from Kuzma for shipment. How did AAK test this model? We chose a test bench
that we modified ourselves. First, we installed the hydraulic relief valve
into the valve block, which was connected to the inlet and outlet pipes.
After started the hydraulic oil pump on the test bench, the testing system
started working. After the oil forms a circuit, the inspector will manually
adjust the oil outlet pressure within the range of 200 bar, set the flow
rate at 2L/min, run for a period of time, and record the pressure and flow
data. This set of tests is relatively slow, but very accurate. Because it
consumes a lot of testing time, most hydraulic cartridge valve manufacturers
are unwilling to conduct such tests or 100% testing.
