AAK Hydraulic Cartridge Counterbalance Valve Optimization Tricks

Coleman is from a hydraulic equipment company in Ecuador. He has been engaged
in procurement for 3 years and has been quite smooth. In the second half of
this year, the hydraulic winches they have sold out for 8 months was complained
by customer that they were slipping under load and were prone to shake. After
checking, it was found that the hydraulic cartridge counterbalance valve in the
system was abnormal. The original manufacturer of the hydraulic cartridge
counterbalance valve said that under such working conditions, the hydraulic
counterbalance valves would need to be replaced every 8 months. The boss was

samples.

Last week, Coleman sent an email to us that the equipment installed with AAK

impact. 8 months have passed and the customer has no complaints. I told him
that even in another 8 months, the customer wouldn't complain. AAK optimized
the hydraulic counterbalance valve with minor changes in 3 aspects, which is
not only more stable and better, but also more durable.

1. In the inner chamber of the hydraulic counterbalance valve spool, the boss
for axial limit is machined. The piston slides in the second chamber. The rear
end of the piston is equipped with a one-way throttling device (the first
damper and the second steel ball).

2. The main valve spring adopts multiple spring structures with different
stiffness, and the chute on the cone side of the valve spool can control more
accurately and sensitively to prevent the load from stalling.

3. The second steel ball is placed in the third chamber of the piston and
matched with the valve port of the first damper. The rear end of the screw plug
is provided with a damper, which has two damping links. The utility model
reduces the system pressure, reduces vibration, is beneficial to stability, and
is durable.
