AAK Directional Control Cartridge Valve High Frequency Reverse

Laertes, from Greece, has been cooperating with AAK for 3 years, mainly
purchasing standard parts of cartridge valves of HydraForce. Last year, he
needed to purchase a hydraulic directional control cartridge valve benchmarking
HydraForce to develop their pile driver, but AAK did not have the procedure for
this cartridge valve, and then no further news from him. I thought he directly
purchased from HydraForce. It was not until last December that Laertes asked me
the fastest time to customize the hydraulic directional control cartridge
valve, then I knew that he had purchased the hydraulic directional control
cartridge valve from a cartridge valve manufacturer in Ningbo. During the
equipment commissioning, the pile driver started slowly and had general
stability. Their sales did not think that it was up to par. The engineer
analyzed and suggested that the external control system should be connected or
the high-frequency reversing function of the hydraulic directional control
cartridge valve should be added. The boss asked to improve the hydraulic
directional control cartridge valve, but the original hydraulic directional
control cartridge valve manufacturer said that this is a standard part of
HydraForce and cannot be improved. Laertes had to contact AAK cartridge valve
again.

According to his hydraulic schematic diagram, production drawings of hydraulic
directional control cartridge valve and equipment working video, AAK engineers
said that adding the high-frequency reversing function to the hydraulic
directional control cartridge valve can indeed avoid the slow vibration of the
equipment and improve the stability. The directional control of AAK is to
control the valve spool through oil circuit switching, and realize the
commutation frequency adjustment of the hydraulic directional control cartridge
valve. Laertes paid the development fee on the second day. After 35 days, AAK
sent 12 samples of hydraulic directional control cartridge valves.

Yesterday, Laertes informed by email that after replacing with AAK hydraulic
directional control cartridge valve, the pile driver was debugged smoothly, and
the vibration of the pile driver was fast, the power density was high, the
stability was good, and the high frequency and large flow could be met. The AAK
optimized hydraulic directional control cartridge valve has one more function
than the standard part of HydraForce.

1. The AAK hydraulic directional control cartridge valve body has multiple
valve holes and multiple main oil passage ports, and the valve holes are
interconnected.

2. Two throttle valve spools are installed on the control flow channel between
the oil chambers on both sides of the main oil circuit switching valve spool
and the control oil circuit switching valve spool. The flow area of the two
throttle valve spools can be adjusted. The pressure reducing valve spool is
installed on the control flow passage between the main oil passage port and the
control oil passage switching valve spool.

3. There is a control oil passage port on the valve body for connecting the
external control oil passage. The oil pressure area of the control oil chamber
at both ends of the control oil switching valve spool and the main oil circuit
switching valve spool is different. Under normal pressure, the oil pressure
acting area of the oil chamber is smaller than that of the variable pressure
oil chamber, which can realize the differential connection of the control oil
circuit.

By controlling the movement of the oil switching valve spool and the main oil
circuit switching valve spool, the main oil circuit switching is realized. By
adjusting the flow area of the two throttling valve spools, the oil resistance
of the control oil chamber is changed, the movement speed of the main oil
circuit switching valve spool is changed, and the reversing time is adjusted to
realize the reversing frequency adjustment of the hydraulic directional control
cartridge valve.
