what is the compressor


The refrigeration system of an automobile's air conditioning system is

classified as fixed displacement compressors or variable displacement
compressors based on their respective operating principles. The following is

1. Fixed displacement compressors' displacement rises in direct proportion
to engine speed; they are unable to automatically adjust their power output
to meet refrigeration demands, which significantly increases engine fuel
consumption;

2. It is generally controlled by collecting temperature signals from the
evaporator outlet. When the temperature reaches the set temperature, the
electromagnetic clutch of the compressor is released, and the compressor
stops working; When the temperature rises, the electromagnetic clutch
engages and the compressor starts working. The constant displacement
compressor is also controlled by the pressure of the air conditioning
system. When the pressure in the pipeline is too high, the compressor stops
working.

Precautions before replacing the compressor


1. When replacing a new compressor, the air conditioning pipes, condenser,
and evaporator must be cleaned. Separate and clean the internal pipes of the
air conditioner, pour special cleaning agent into the condenser and
evaporator of the pipes, soak for about 20 minutes, and then use high-
pressure nitrogen to flush out the cleaning agent and dirt together.

2. The expansion valve must be thoroughly cleaned or replaced, and if the
drying bottle is a pipeline filter, it must be replaced.

3. Please choose pure refrigerant.

4. Install a new compressor and add approximately 450 grams of refrigerant.
