3mm 4mm 5mm Rough Lab Grown Diamonds D E Color VVS VS Clarity
Product Description
3mm 4mm 5mm D E Color VVS VS Clarity Rough Lab Grown Diamonds For Making Small Size Lab Diamonds
Rough Lab Grown Diamonds Description
The lab grown diamonds are also real diamonds. They have the same chemical composition and crystal structure as natural diamonds.
However, the manufacturing process of laboratory-grown diamonds uses advanced technology to simulate the formation conditions of natural diamonds under the earth's crust. This formation process is the main factor that distinguishes lab diamonds from natural diamonds. After all, in terms of chemical, optical and physical properties and crystal structure, lab grown diamonds are basically the same as natural diamonds. Although the place and conditions of formation are different, the essence is the same.
So how are cultivated diamonds made? Two methods are mainly used now. One is the high-pressure high-temperature method (HPHT), which creates high-pressure and high- temperature environments in laboratories or factories to produce diamonds, which is to imitate the formation conditions of natural diamonds in the depths of the earth. In the growth chamber, the carbon source is decomposed in the molten metal, and the carbon atoms are gathered on a small cultivated or natural diamond seed through the metal to form a cultivated diamond crystal with a unique shape.
The second is chemical vapor deposition (CVD), which uses carbon-rich gas (such as methane) in the vacuum chamber of the laboratory to produce cultivated diamonds. The production process of the CVD process is to first decompose the methane gas molecules into carbon and hydrogen atoms, and then deposit them on the diamond seed crystals to form square flat cultivated diamond crystals.
It usually takes several weeks to manufacture cultivated diamonds in the laboratory. Compared to the millions or even billions of years of formation of natural diamonds deep in the earth, this time is very short.

Rough Lab Grown Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. By zooming in, professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.
