Despite the rigidity, the bike also incorporates enough compliance to soak up the impacts of harsh roads through dropped seatstays and a carbon seatpost, so there's no compromise to comfort. Performance Road Geometry creates a responsive feel and optimises power transfer, it's aggressive yet still comfortable.

DT R470 Disc wheels and Specialized Turbo Pro tyres are a solid combination for faster, low resistance rolling, and the bike is built up with reliable Shimano Ultegra disc components, bringing trickle-down braking and shifting performance from flagship Dura-Ace at great value with only a very slight weight penalty.
