What is conveyor belt jointing vulcanizing?


Conveyor belt jointing vulcanizing is the process of joining together two
pieces of conveyor belt. Usually, this is done to either elongate the original
conveyor belt or to repair a torn or damaged conveyor belt.

There are several different types of vulcanized splices, including finger
splice, wedge splice, stepped splice and overlap splice. And two types of
vulcanizing processes: hot vulcanization and cold vulcanization.
